Digital Applications in Archaeology

(Maymester & July) This course includes the necessary knowledge in Computational and Quantitative methods required for Archaeology students, GIS and 3D modelling, Statistical Evaluation of Analytical Data, E-Research and Management, Visualisation and Modelling Practices which are essential elements in modern archaeological research. These topics are all components and aids in data collection in fieldworks, documentation and evaluation of archaeological data and cover the baseline for further digital development using computer simulations and will be realized in the laboratory as well as in the field.
